Preparation
1. Turn off the power.
2. Remove the upper lid. (Refer to Section 2-3-1 in Maintenance Manual Part 1.)
3. Remove the plate MD assembly. (Refer to Section 2-4 in Maintenance Manual
Part 1.)
4. Remove the cassette compartment assembly. (Refer to Section 2-5 in Mainte-
nance Manual Part 1.)

. L wrench (Across flat has 0.89 mm): 7-700-736-06
. Grease (SGL-601):
. Cleaning cloth:
. Cleaning fluid:
. Calipers (or the equivalent)
