Removal
1. Tension Spring Removal
Remove the two springs caught on the T tension
base.
2. T Tension Arm Removal
(1) Remove the stop washer, then remove the T
tension arm.

. Do not reuse the stop washer.
. A polywasher may be attached together
when the T tension arm is removed. In this
case, remove the polywasher from the T
tension arm and return it to the shaft.
(2) Remove the two bearings and two springs
from the T tension arm.

The two springs are the same.
