5-10. Capstan Motor Replacement
3. Remove the Capstan Motor
(1) Disconnect the harness from the connector on
the capstan motor board.
(2) Remove the two screws while holding the
capstan motor by hand.

Be carefull not to fall the removed screw in
the unit.
Installation
4. Attach the Capstan Motor
(1) Pass a new capstan motor through the hole of
the chassis in the direction shown in the
figure and tighten the two screws.

. Be careful not to drop the capstan motor.
. Be careful not to damage the capstan motor
shaft when passing the capstan motor
through the hole of the chassis.
(2) Connect the harness disconnected in (1) of
step 3 to the capstan motor board.
5. Attach the DR-315 Board
Refer to Section 5-32-6.
6. Attach the HDD Unit
Refer to Section 5-31.
