SETTING THE ADDITIONAL AIR (ATOMIZING/IONISING/TRIBO AIR QUANTITY)

To the left of the "additional air" button 21 is the "additional air" bar graph display 35. When
the control unit is in the ready position, this display shows the set point as a dot and when
powder feeding is switched on it shows the actual value as a bar.
Different amounts of air are required depending on the type or gun and/or nozzle. For the
correct settings, please refer to the operating manual for the relevant powder spray gun.
As described above, the additional air quantity can be adjusted between 0.05-4 m³/h. If
the value falls a long way below 0.05 m³/h, the word „off" appears in the LED display 19 to
indicate that the additional air is switched off. The additional air is not then switched on if
the gun is switched on.

Procedure:
1. Press the "additional air" button 21 to adjust the
additional air quantity. The yellow LED 23 indicates
that additional air is selected.
2. The additional air quantity can now be adjusted
using the Universal rotary controller 24 between
0.0 m³/h - 4.0 m³/h with a resolution of 0.05 m³/h. The
value is shown in the LED display 19.
