value, then press the RES button and

WARNING
265) Pay the utmost attention while
driving at all times and be always ready to
press the brakes if needed.
266) The system is an aid for the driver,
who must always pay full attention while
driving. The responsibility always rests
with the driver, who must take into
account the traffic conditions in order to
drive in complete safety. The driver must
always maintain a safe distance from the
vehicle in front.
267) The device is not activated in
presence of pedestrians, oncoming
vehicles in the opposite direction of travel
or moving in the crosswise direction and
stationary objects (e.g. a vehicle standing
in a queue or a broken down vehicle).
268) The device cannot take account of
road, traffic and weather conditions and
conditions of poor visibility (e.g. fog).
269) The device does not always
fully recognise complicated driving
conditions which could cause incorrect or
non-existing determination of the safe
distance to be held.
270) The device cannot apply the
maximum braking force: the car will not
be stopped completely.
271) The radar is provided with defrosting
system. For this reason, it can reach high
temperatures in some conditions. If you
need to operate in the zone surrounding
the sensor, wait for at least 30 seconds
from when the engine is switched off.
272) The Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) is
a system designed for driving comfort.
It is not a substitute for active driving
involvement. It is always the driver's
responsibility to be attentive of road,
traffic, and weather conditions, vehicle
speed, distance to the vehicle ahead;
and, most importantly, brake operation
to ensure safe operation of the vehicle
under all road conditions. Your complete
attention is always required while driving
to maintain safe control of your vehicle.
Failure to follow these warnings can
result in a collision and death or serious
personal injury.
273) The ACC system is not able to
take into account road, traffic and
weather conditions and may demonstrate
limitations in low visibility conditions. The
device does not always fully recognise
complicated driving conditions which
could cause incorrect or non-existing
determination of the safe distance to
be held. On vehicles with automatic
transmission, it brings the car to a
complete stop while following a reference
vehicle and holds it in that position for
approximately three minutes. If the
reference vehicle does not restart within
three minutes, the parking brake is
applied and ACC is cancelled.
274) You should turn the ACC system off:
When driving in fog, heavy rain, heavy
snow, sleet, heavy traffic, and complex
driving situations (i.e., in highway
construction zones). When entering a turn
lane or highway off ramp; when driving on
roads that are winding, icy, snow-covered,
slippery, or have steep uphill or downhill
slopes. When towing a trailer up or down
steep slopes. When circumstances do not
allow safe driving at a constant speed.
275) Leaving the Adaptive Cruise Control
(ACC) system on when not in use is
dangerous. You could accidentally set the
system or cause it to go faster than you
want. You could lose control and have
a collision. Always leave the system off
when you are not using it.
276) The Resume function should only
be used if traffic and road conditions
permit. Resuming a set speed that is too
high or too low for prevailing traffic and
road conditions could cause the vehicle
to accelerate or decelerate too sharply
for safe operation. Failure to follow these
warnings can result in a collision and
death or serious personal injury.
277) When the ACC system is resumed,
the driver must ensure that there are no
pedestrians, vehicles or objects in the
path of the vehicle. Failure to follow these
warnings can result in a collision and
death or serious personal injury.
IMPORTANT
61) The system may have limited
operation or not work at all in weather
conditions such as: heavy rain, hail, thick
fog, heavy snow.
62) The section of the bumper area in
front the sensor or the radar sensor
itself must not be covered with stickers,
auxiliary headlights or any other object.
63) Operation can be adversely affected
by any structural change made to the
vehicle, such as a modification to the
