In Europe the characteristics of child restraint systems are ruled by the regulation ECE-R44, dividing them into five weight groups:

Check the label on the child restraint system. All approved child restraint systems must include type-approval data and the control
mark on its label. The label must be permanently secured to the child restraint system. Do not remove this label from the seat.
