Error
code Description
E The instrument's self-test
failed. This can occur if the
ambient temperature is not
between -40...+80°C / -
40...175°F.
W This is a temporary error
message. If the instrument
cannot get a measurement in
this time limit, the displayed
measurement is no longer
correct. The voltage is
possibly too low. If the
instrument continues to show
the message "spectrum
quality is bad", then this
message is also shown.
W The level is in the blocking
distance. There is a risk that
the product will overflow
and/or cover the instrument.
W The instrument got the last
valid measurement near to
the tank bottom, but it can no
longer find the signal. This is
common in tanks with dished
bottoms (DIN28011 or
similar). The instrument will
display tank bottom
measurement.
E A microwave board check
failed.
E Hardware peripheral devices
on the DSP board failed.

Corrective action
Switch on the instrument
when the ambient
temperature is between -
40...+80°C / -40....+175°F. If
the instrument does not
operate correctly, contact the
supplier.
Check the voltage at the
instrument terminals. Refer
also to the error message
"Spectrum quality is bad".
Remove some of the product
until the level is below the
blocking distance.
The tank is possibly empty. If
you fill the tank, the
instrument will measure
again.
If the problem continues,
contact the supplier.
