Every pickup and dropout of an enabled protection function can be logged in the Event log. Each class of pickups must be programmed to be
logged (see Section 5). Observing pickups in the Event log can show if a current or voltage transient is causing a pickup. Most values given
with each log can be accessed by selecting the line immediately below the Cause and pressing Enter. The information given is a series of
status flags that show the state of that status at the time of the event. Table 12.5 shows all the possible event causes that are a pickup or a
dropout of a protective function.
