5.10 Required Software Installation and Safety Configuration

5.10.1 Downloading TMflow and TMstudio Software

Before conducting software configuration for required safety regarding TCP, Teach Pendant, and Reset
Button, users must have downloaded the following TM application software programs from Techman Robot
Inc. official website first.
TMstudio: a PC-based offline, graphical simulation software program for robotic applications. Users will
use Palletizing Wizard under TMstudio to create and configure their palletizing applications and then
generate a text file ("layout.txt" by default). The palletizing text file will be imported in TMflow software to
run palletizing setting.
TMflow: a PC-based graphical HMI software allowing users to open and edit their robot workflows. For
palletizing application, users will import and run the 4 software components by TM Palletizing Operator
Software Package under TMflow to enable quick-start for their palletizing applications.

5.10.2 Entering TMflow Software

To initialize in TMflow, it is necessary to log-in first. Simply go to the top-left corner to click "Login" and the
"Log in" window will appear. User can create a set of Login ID and password.
Then, click "Get Control".

5.10.3 Setting Teach Pendant in TMflow

The following will provide steps about how to set up the teach pendant in TMflow.
Check if your control box is in the version of HW3.2 to ensure compatibility.
