Manual for ZBL-U5 series of Ultrasonic Detector
Select excitation voltage value when ultrasonic stimulated
emission transducer generates ultrasonic pulse, there are several
options including 65, 250, 500 and 1000. The default is 500V, which
is applicable to most test conditions. If other test conditions remain
unchanged, the higher the transmitting voltage is, the stronger the
receiving signal is. It is suggested to select 65 or 250V when testing
the test block and small core sample.

Transmitting and receiving channels
Transmitting and receiving channel refers to the channel
connecting the transmitting and receiving transducer. The default
transmitting channel is channel 1 and the receiving channel is channel
2.
Channel 1, 2 and 3 can be selected as the transmitting channel of
U57OO. Only channel 1 can be selected as the transmitting channel of
U5600.
5.
Zero acoustic time
It refers to the acoustic time delay of ultrasound equipment and
transmitting and receiving the transducer system. It can be input
manually. Press Zero button to obtain the zero acoustic time
automatically by the zero set function. (Please refer to Section 3.6 for
details).
