Purpose of the 147A-01/3/INT/SM

The REF TEK tri-axial accelerometer assembly provides on-scale recording of earthquake motions
at both near-fault locations and in a wide variety of building structure types. This accelerometer
can be used in a variety of applications for measuring accelerations up to at least ±4.0g Full scale
and down to the ambient noise level.
On the 147A-01/3/INT/SM plate are three independent single-component sensors which are
orthogonally mounted. Also, there is a common interface board with lightning protection, a
DC/DC power conditioning circuit, and an oscillator circuit.
The major features of REF TEK accelerometers include high bandwidth (DC-150 HZ), high linearity,
low hysteresis, and low cross-axis sensitivity. The tri-axial accelerometer assembly is designed
