DIAGNOSIS CODE DETECTION DRIVING PATTERN
For M/T Vehicle
(1) Start engine and warm engine up.
(2) After engine is warmed up, let it idle for 3 min.
(3) With the A/C ON and the transmission in 4th gear, drive at 45–70 mph for 6 min.
(4) After the driving in , stop the vehicle.
(5) Within 1 min. of stopping the vehicle, shift into 2nd gear and gradually accelerate for
5 sec. while gradually increasing the engine speed from 1,500 rpm up to 3,500 rpm.
Then, without releasing the accelerator pedal at all, accelerate with throttle wide open
for 2 sec.
NOTICE: If the conditions in this test are not strictly abserved, detection of the malfunction
will not be possible.
