2 Installation and Setup

This section explains how to install, connect and optimize the projector. Illustrations are graphical

representations only and are provided to enhance the understanding of the written material.

2.1

Follow these steps for quick setup of the projector in a basic front-mount position.

1. Position the Projection Head.

• Locate the projection head at an appropriate throw distance (projector-to-screen distance) and vertical

position. See

• Ensure the projector is level from side-to-side, and not inverted. The projector's front-to-back and side-

to-side tilt can be no more than 15° from horizontal.

• Position the Ballast so that its four cables can reach the rear of the projection head.

Always power down the projector and disconnect all power sources before servicing

or cleaning.

Disconnect AC Mains in case of an emergency by pulling the line cord from the wall

or the projection head. See
