Electric motor
The table moves in circles at a speed of 20 to 400 min
an electric motor (2), which is connected to the counterweight (1) by
a drive belt (3). In order to prevent injuries and facilitate easy han-
dling of the cultivation flasks, the drive is switched off automatically
as soon as the door is opened.
The counterweight used to balance the mass is fitted under the table.
Depending on the design, the deflection of the circular movement is
either 25 mm or 50 mm. The table moves in clockwise circles.
Table
The table (5) is connected to the drive hub (4) by 4 hexagonal socket
screws. The table is used to hold the 85 x 47 cm (type M) tray, vari-
ous versions of which are available.
When the base tray requires cleaning, the 4 hexagonal socket screws
can be undone, then the table can be lifted 30° to allow access (see
chapter 8.2.1 "Cleaning", page 93).
