Code 5073: "Anode fan - speed low"
Situation
Blocked Anode Fan
Damaged wire
Anode Fan end of life
Malfunction Cinema Controller Replace the Cinema Control board. See service manual chapter
Code 5082: "Cathode fan - speed too low"
Situation
Wire of the Cathode Fan is
disconnected.
Wire of the rear fan units is
disconnected from the Signal
Backplane.

Solution
Check if the Anode Fan is not blocked. Ensure that the Anode Fan can turn
freely. (reference 3 Image 25-15).
Check if the wire of the Anode Fan is not damaged. Repair if possible,
otherwise replace with new one.
Replace the Anode Fan. See service manual chapter "Replacement of the
Anode Fan", page 84.
"Replacement of the Cinema Controller", page 217.
Solution
Remove the Light Source and Cathode fan (reference 1 Image 25-16) and
check the connection of the Cathode Fan (reference 3 Image 25-16).
Remove the Light Source and Cathode fan and check if the wire unit
(reference 2 Image 25-17) is inserted in the Signal Backplane.
