When a lobby station is unlocked, a notification sound can be sent from the lobby station depending on the
settings.

5.3 Lobby station programming

You can use a lobby station to configure various system settings.

Register the lobby station (page 27).
R If you have already registered the lobby station, skip this step.

Press M#N ® enter the access code ® M
For systems that support enhanced features version 2 or later (page 92)
a. Enter the building number ® M
b. Press M#N ® enter the access code ® M
R The default access code is "123456". If necessary, you can change the access code (Changing the access
code (Page 58)).

Set each parameter.
R You can browse parameters by pressing M N and M N, and select a parameter by pressing M
R To cancel, press M
R See 5.3.1 List of lobby station programming parameters (Page 59) for information about each parameter.

Press M
N when finished.
R The lobby station exits programming mode and the standby screen is displayed.
Entering numbers and characters
You can use the keypad to enter numbers and characters.
R Press a key repeatedly to scroll through the characters assigned to that key.
R Follow the hints displayed on the bottom of the display.
– To erase all numbers or characters, press MHN.
– To advance the cursor, press M#N.
– To cancel, press M
– To confirm or save the entered numbers or characters, press M
Changing the access code
The access code is required to use the lobby station programming.

Determines the building number for the
corresponding room number.
Determines the open code for each room number. If
disabled, the door cannot be opened using a code.
(4 digits, or #### to disable)
Description and available settings
Determines the amount of time the door stays open.
If set to 0 SEC, the door cannot be opened.
(1–20 SEC, or 0 to disable)
Sends a notification sound to the lobby station when
unlocking a door. (A notification sound is also sent
when access controller (door opener, key switch,
card reader, etc.) unlocks a door.)
