7.5.3 Setup tool versions and serial number suffixes
The suffix of the serial number can be used to determine which enhanced features are supported by the device.
Setup tool versions
Important:
R When enhanced version 2 devices are configured with the version 3 setup tool, regardless of whether
settings could be configured with the setup tool, the following functions will not operate because the
devices do not support the functions.
When the lobby station is enhanced version 2:
– unlocking code setting for each resident
– lobby station unlocking notification sound settings
When the control box is enhanced version 2:
– multiple floor settings for lifts
If you know the features version of the control box, select the appropriate version. See page 91 for information
on version numbers and suffixes.
If you do not know the features version of the control box, click [Auto Select by Control Box Version] after
connecting the PC to the control box. The setup tool will be automatically opened using the correct software
version.
Note:
R If you are using enhanced features version 2, use the latest Setup Tool version 3.
