7.5.4 Increasing the volume of lobby station speakers
Refer to 7.5.1 Serial numbers (Page 88) in order to confirm that your lobby station supports enhanced features for
adjusting the volume of lobby station speakers. The speaker volume can be adjusted by removing the cabinet cover
and changing the position of the switches. After making adjustments make sure to reattach the cabinet cover.
Important:
R Before removing the cabinet cover in order to adjust the speaker volume, make sure to turn off the power
at the breaker. Next, refer to the safety information in 2 Important Information (Page 8) and then follow
the procedure below to adjust the volume.
Refer servicing to an authorised service centre when service is required.
Opening or removing covers may expose you to dangerous voltages or other risks.

If the lobby station is already installed, remove it (B) from the flush mount box (A). Use the supplied hex wrench
to remove the 4 screws (C).

Remove the cabinet cover (A) from the front cabinet (B), adjust the volume, and then reattach the cabinet cover.
R Remove all 8 screws (C).
R Disconnect the connector (D) from the printed circuit board (E).
R There are 2 slide switches F ("BEEP" and "VOLUME") used to set the speaker volume on the printed circuit
board.
To increase the volume, slide both the "BEEP" and "VOLUME" switches to "LOUD".
– The default setting of the switches is "N" (normal).
– The speaker volume increases by about 6 dB.
