REQUIREMENTS AND SPECIFICATIONS
Asserting The Clear to Send Signal With The JP5 Jumper
Use the JP5 jumper to set the Clear To Send (CTS) signal for the Console
port to either the internally asserted mode or the externally activated
terminal-signal mode.
The JP5 jumper's default position is over pins 1 and 2, to allow
activation of the CTS signal from a terminal. This is the recommended
setting.
To internally assert CTS, place the JP5 jumper over pins 2 and 3. Use
this setting if your modem requires CTS.
