5.1.2 Describing FNB LEDs
FNB LEDs convey information about the status of the FNB connection.
16 Mb (Ring Speed)
The 16 Mb LED indicates the FNB ring speed:
Solid Yellow
Off
For information about specifying the FNB ring speed, see Section 2.5.1.
LWRP (Left Wrap)
The LWRP LED indicates the status of the left FNB connection:
Solid Yellow
Off
The left-wrapped condition can result from any of the following
circumstances:
•
The TRBMIM-T has been bypassed from the FNB ring via Local
Management or remote management (in which case the TRBMIM-T
will be left-wrapped as well).
•
The MIM to the TRBMIM-T's left is right-wrapped.
•
There are no MIMs to the left of the TRBMIM-T.
•
The MIM to the TRBMIM-T's left is running at a different ring speed.
See the TRBMIM/TRBMIM-T Local Management User's Guide for
information about configuring logical FNB connections in the MMAC for
the TRBMIM/TRBMIM-T.
MONITORING AND TROUBLESHOOTING
The FNB ring speed is set to 16 Mbps, the
default ring speed.
The FNB ring speed is set to 4 Mbps.
The TRBMIM-T left FNB connection is
left-wrapped, is not logically connected to
MIMs to its left.
The TRBMIM-T left FNB connection is not
left-wrapped, is logically connected to MIMs to
its left.
