2. Align the TRBMIM-T in the top and bottom module slots in the
MMAC and slide it in, as shown in Figure 3-2, until you feel the
backplane connectors on the TRBMIM-T firmly insert into the FNB
backplane connector sockets.
3. Tighten the fastening knobs on the TRBMIM-T to secure it to the
FNB backplane in the MMAC.
Failure to secure the TRBMIM-T or other modules to the MMAC
FNB backplane may result in poor network performance.
4. Power on the hub if necessary, allowing at least two to three minutes
for completion of the booting process, and then check that the
following LEDs on the TRBMIM-T are indicating normal operation:
• BOK blinking green
• NSRT solid green
• ERR off
If they do not indicate normal operation, proceed to Chapter 5 for
information about LEDs and troubleshooting procedures. Otherwise the
TRBMIM-T is ready for operation.
