2.4.2 LANVIEW LEDs

Front-panel LANVIEW LEDs together with the LNK LED on the TPIM
installed in the TRBMIM-T provide an at-a-glance means of determining
the operational status of the TRBMIM-T and the Token Ring network.
LEDs convey information about the following system conditions and
events:
Normal and abnormal operating conditions
Ring speeds for both bridge interfaces
Left- and right-wrap conditions for FNB connection
Insertion or non-insertion of the TRBMIM-T in the FNB ring
Insertion or non-insertion of a device into the Station port
Presence or absence of frame traffic though the Station port
