Select Bridge-Only or Bridge/Management operational modes
Assert the Clear to Send signal for the Console port
Completely remove the TRBMIM-T from the MMAC before
working with dip switches and jumpers to eliminate potential
electric-shock hazard.

2.5.1 Dip Switch Settings

Refer to Figure 2-5 and Table 2-2 when configuring dip switch settings.
Please note that Switchblock 1 is labeled SW1 and Switchblock 2 is
labeled SW2 on the component board.
You can use a narrow, blunt-tipped instrument such as a screwdriver to
flip dip switches. The TRBMIM-T automatically restarts after you
reinsert it in the MMAC, implementing the modified operational settings.
To prevent damaging the component board, work with dip

switches in a well-lighted location and handle the instrument
used to flip switches cautiously. Avoid using a pencil to flip

switches to prevent possible problems associated with the
accumulation of conductive graphite dust on the switches.
Avoid contact with other board components.
Selecting The Operational Mode (SW1 – Switch 2)
Use Switch 2 on SW1 to select the operational mode for the TRBMIM-T.
The SW1 – Switch 2 default setting is ON for the Bridge-Only mode.
To select the Bridge/Management mode, set SW1 – Switch 2 to OFF.
Selecting The FNB Ring Speed (SW2 – Switch 7)
Use Switch 7 on SW2 to select the FNB ring operating speed.
The SW2 – Switch 7 default setting is ON for 16 Mbps.
To select a 4 Mbps FNB ring speed, set SW2 – Switch 7 to OFF.
Selecting The Station Port Ring Speed (SW2 – Switch 8)
Use Switch 8 on SW 2 to select the Station port ring operating speed.
The SW 2 – Switch 8 default setting is ON for 16 Mbps.
To select a 4 Mbps Station port ring speed, set SW 2 – Switch 8 to OFF.
