MONITORING AND TROUBLESHOOTING

5.1.1 Describing System LEDs

System LEDs convey information about the status of system hardware
and software elements.
BOK (Board Okay)
The BOK LED indicates the following operational conditions:
Solid Green
Green
Blinking
Off
ERR (Error)
The ERR LED indicates the following operational conditions:
Off
Solid Red
Flashing Red
Try reinserting the TRBMIM-T in the MMAC or resetting the
TRBMIM-T to resolve the problem indicated by a solid red ERR LED. If
that does not resolve the problem, call Cabletron Systems Technical
Support Department for assistance.

The TRBMIM-T is booting, is running system
initialization tests.
The TRBMIM-T has successfully completed
system initialization tests, is ready for normal
operation.
The MMAC is powered off, or the TRBMIM-T
is not connected to the MMAC power bus, or
the TRBMIM-T has not initialized and has
failed to start up.
The TRBMIM-T is operating normally.
The TRBMIM-T has detected a possible
hardware failure.
The TRBMIM-T has detected a beaconing
condition while operating in the
Bridge/Management mode.
