C.3.2 Required Tools
The required tools are:
• Phillips screwdriver
• 1/4" Nutdriver
C.3.3 CSMIM2-16 Disassembly Instructions
The following instructions describe disassembling the CSMIM2-16.
Refer to Figure C-1 for location of screws and standoffs on CSMIM2.
Observe all antistatic precautions when handling electronic

equipment.
CAUTION
1. Remove the unit from the MMAC.
2. Remove the (2) 4-40 flathead screws and (2) 6-32 screws that secure
the stiffeners to the mother board and faceplate. You may discard the
old stiffeners.
3. Remove the (3) 6-32 mounting screws from the topside of the MIM.
These hold the faceplate on. You may discard the old faceplate.
Do not misplace the screws. You will need them to secure the

daughter card to your existing CSMIM2. The following steps refer to
