The tftp dump names are user–defined. If a name is not

specified, the CSMIM2 uses the bfs convention.
4.4

MODMIM TROUBLESHOOTING

The MODMIM uses the same indicators as the CSMIM2-16 for its 16
asynchronous ports with the addition of 5 LEDS and a reset switch per
modem port. In normal operation, the port status indicators are as follows:
Clear to Send . ON until the modem lowers CTS when Transmission Data
CTS
hardware flow control is enabled (&H1, &H3). Always on during
synchronous connections.
Data Terminal Ready . ON when the MODMIM receives a DTR signal
DTR
from the computer or terminal.
Send Data. Flashes when the computer or terminal sends a data bit to
TXD
the MODMIM.
Received Data . Flashes when the MODMIM sends result codes or
RXD
passes received data bits to the computer or terminal.
Carrier Detect . On when the MODMIM receives a valid data signal
DCD
(carrier) from a remote modem, indicating that data transmission is
possible.
