Chapter 2: Installing the CSMIM2
To operate on Channel A: Place the J11 jumper over the center pin
and pin 3, and the J12 jumper over the center pin and pin 3.
To operate on Channel B: Place the J11 jumper over the center pin
and pin 1, and the J12 jumper over the center pin and pin 3.
To operate on Channel C: Place the J11 jumper over the center pin
and pin 3, and the J12 jumper over the center pin and pin 1.

Setting the Unmanaged Module Jumper

CSMIM2s allow grouping of the B and C channels into unmanaged
modules to provide two additional Ethernet networks. All MIMs in the
MMAC to the left of the CSMIM2 become part of the unmanaged module
group. These additional networks cannot be seen or controlled from the
EMME or EMM-E6 installed in the MMAC.
Unmanaged Module Group jumper settings can be overridden
NOTE
by an EMME or EMM-E6 installed in the MMAC.
To set the unmanaged module group jumper, refer to Figure 2-1 and
configure the jumper as follows:
To operate normally (maintain the continuity of the backplane):
Place the J15 jumper over the center pin and pin 3.
To operate in Unmanaged Module Group mode: Place the J15
jumper over the center pin and pin 1.
