Note
During the years, the heat
exchanger has been redesigned
several times. Although its
appearance has changed, the
operational principles, use
and maintenance actions have
remained the same.
Procedure
1
Remove the front panel.
Remove the bolts
indicated in the
illustration.
Older types of heat
exchangers have only four
bolts to secure the front
panel, one in each corner.
Note
The front panel can be tight because the insulation material used between the
front panel and the cabinet have become sticky. You may need to apply some
force to remove the panel. Use a block of wood and a small hammer to carefully
loosen the panel.
2
Clean the unit.
• Use a vacuum cleaner with a plastic or rubber nozzle.
• Use a soft lint free cloth moistened with fresh water and a mild detergent.
• Use high pressure air if necessary.
Note
For more dirty applications, compressed air or high pressure water flushing can be
used provided maximum flushing pressure with a flat flushing nozzle is kept below
100 bar. Please observe that high pressure flushing must not be made directly
against the plates!
3
Close the front panel.
