The remainder of this Appendix describes each screen of the
Harmony 802.11b Utility in detail.
In addition, click the <Help> button found within each screen of
the Harmony 802.11b Utility for more information on the param-
eters described below.
Link Info
This screen reports the current state of the PC Card's connection
with other 802.11b devices and provides information about the
relative strength of the connection.
State
This field displays the current state of the driver. When the card
has a connection to an Access Point or an Ad Hoc network, the
state is "Linked." In addition, this field displays the ID of the
cell or Basic Service Set (BSSID) that the PC Card is communi-
cating with.
When the State field reports "Scanning" (as shown in the screen
shot on the next page) then the PC Card is looking for an Access
Point or Ad Hoc network that it can communicate with but it has
not yet found one within range.
