Remove the gasket (7) and dowel pins (8).
•
Remove the oil filter screen (9) and wash it
•
in clean non flammable or high flash point
solvent (kerosene).

Reinstall the oil filter screen with the sharp
•
edged side facing inwards.
Reinstall the dowel pins, new gasket,
•
crankcase cover, rider footrest assembly
with side stand, exhaust muffler, kick starter
pedal and clutch cable.
Install the side stand switch screw.
•
Adjust the clutch cable free play, if required
•
(page 40).
Fill the crankcase with clean engine oil as
•
per specification.
Ensure to replace gasket with new one once
removed.
