Instruments and Indicators

The indicators are in the speedometer panel
above the headlamp. The functions are as
below.

Light glows when the side stand is put down.
Indicates approximate fuel quantity (page 14).
Indicates driving speed.
Indicates the turn signal lamp operation to the rider.
Shows accumulated distance travelle d (page 15).
When the ignition switch is turned "ON" the
programmed FI malfunction indicator lamp (MIL)
glows continuously and then should go "OFF" once
the engine is started. It indicates that programmed FI
system is OK. If it glows continuously there is an
abnormality in the programmed FI system, it is
recommended to reduce the speed and drive to the
