Opening or closing the shutter

Open the shutter (douser) to display light on the screen, or close the shutter to remove light from the
screen.
In the right toolbar, select and hold Shutter.
If the shutter was closed, the shutter opens.
If the shutter was open, the shutter closes.
The shutter sensor prevents light source activation when the shutter is closed.
In a situation where the shutter is not functioning, you can use the option for Permit light
source activation when shutter is nonfunctional to permit activation of the light source. To
enable this option, select Service Setup > Preferences > Lens/ILS and enable Permit light
source activation when shutter is nonfunctional.
To avoid damage to the projector, only enable this option when the shutter can be verified as
open.
