Correcting keystone effect Learn how to adjust the image to correct keystone effect. Keystone effect occurs when you project an image onto the screen at an angle. As a result, the image appears distorted and resembles a trapezoid.

    When adjusting boresight, you must maintain the boresight distance from the lens to the prism plane set by Christie. For example, when you move the top screw outward, turn the bottom two boresight screws to maintain the overall distance.

    Caution! If not avoided, the following could result in minor or moderate injury. • This procedure must be performed by Christie qualified technicians. Typically, horizontal boresight does not require adjustment. It should only be adjusted if a large horizontal angular offset to the screen is required.
