Connects a GC signal output to an Agilent Cerity Chemical data
system using RS-232 communications. See

Connect the RS-232 and adapter cables to the GC and computer
as shown in Figure 30

If you are using Cerity Chemical for data reduction, you must
set (or confirm) the RS-232 communications parameters.
1 Press [Options], scroll to Communication, and press [Enter].
2 Scroll to each RS-232 setting. If the setting is as shown in
Table 10, continue to the next setting. If it is different, press
[Mode/Type] to see the available values and select the new
value to match the table.
