3.6 Logging into the System

In order to access many of the Y58 advanced functions, you will need to be logged in to the system.
This is a security measure to ensure that access to sensitive functions and video data is restricted to
authorized users. Also, the system keeps an operations log which tags particular actions to usernames
for accountability and audit purposes.
Access to the following functions require the user to be logged in:
Access from the on-screen quick menu:
Playback
Access to the Main Menu and the following functions:
REC Search
Log Search
Setup (* this function requires the user to be logged in as an administrator)
This screen displays data for the
accelerometer speed and the angular speed
of the vehicle.
There are six different measurements for the
speed:
G Sensor SpeedX
G Sensor SpeedY
G Sensor SpeedZ
Angular SpeedX
Angular SpeedY
Angular SpeedZ
T&H stands for Temperature and Humidity,
this screen allows the user to see how the
MDVR is doing regarding Temperature and
Humidity.
It is categorized by four factors:
Address
Name / OSD
Temperature
Humidity
