6 Decommissioning

6.1 Introduction

Introduction
This section contains information to consider when taking a product out of operation.
It details with how to handle potentially dangerous components and potentially
hazardous materials.
General
All used grease/oils and dead batteries must be disposed of in accordance with
the current legislation of the country in which the product is installed.
If the product is partially or completely disposed of, the various parts must be
grouped together according to their nature (which is all iron together and all plastic
together), and disposed of accordingly. These parts must also be disposed of in
accordance with the current legislation of the country in which the product is
installed.
Safety information
Before any service work is commenced, it is extremely important that all safety
information is observed! Read Safety before performing any service work.
