RM245 series supports for a variety of different storage options:
Up to 8 x 3.5" hot-swap SAS/SATA HDD or 2.5" SAS/SATA HDD or SSD (RM24508)

Up to 12 x 3.5" hot-swap SAS/SATA HDD or 2.5" SAS/SATA HDD or SSD (RM24512)

2 x 2.5'' hot-swap SATA HDD/SSD [7 mm or 9.5 mm thickness] or NVMe [7 mm or 15 mm thickness with upgrade kit]

Support for different storage and peripheral options will vary depending on the system model and/or available accessory options
installed.
