Table 17 Connector and pin header function description

Description
The backplane includes a 2 x 4 connector supplying
power to the backplane. Power is routed to the
backplane via a power cable harness from the power
supply.
The backplane includes two multi-port mini-SAS
cable connectors providing data signals for eight
SAS/SATA drives on the backplane. A cable can be
routed from matching connectors on the server
board or add-in SAS/SATA RAID cards.
The backplane includes a 1 x 4 cable connector used
as a management interface to the server board.
The backplane includes four fan connectors used to
control and monitor fan speed.
Set the DIP SW1 to ON for RM24508.
