Step 24: Attach Access Ladder/Rockwall Assembly to Fort
Part 1
Pre-drill all holes using a 3/16" drill bit before
installing the Lag Screws
A: Remove (0705) Cedar Wall from the Access
Ladder Rockwall, previously assembled in Step 2. Set
the board and screws aside, they will be re-attached.
(fig. 24.2 and 24.3)
B: Place the Access Ladder Rockwall centred in
between (2181) Short Post and (2180) Post on the
Back Wall, flush to top of floor boards, then attach to
(2164) Floor Support with 1 (LS1) 1/4 x 1-1/2" Lag
Screw (with flat washer) in each Swing Bracket. (fig.
24.1, 24.2 and 24.3).
C: Re-attach (0705) Cedar Wall to the same place it
was removed.
