4.7.2 Inspecting the Fan Filter

When you inspect the fan and clean the filter, follow the steps described below.
(1) Shut down Windows 95, and turn OFF the Control and Drive Units.
(2) Wait for about 1 minute until the high voltage is discharged. Then, remove the

Front Panel as shown below. Regarding the top center screw, the panel can be
removed by just loosening it.
Be careful not to pull the Front Panel too tightly because the power cable of the fan is
connected to DPB.

Loosen the top
center screw
