When configuring the BorderNet 500 Gateway, you must specify a SIParator type, which indicates the
configuration type for the Gateway.
To specify the SIParator type, follow these steps:
1. Click Basic Configuration on the main menu of the SIParator web interface.
The Basic Configuration page appears.

Click SIParator Type on the Basic Configuration page:
The SIParator type options appear.
3. In the Type of SIParator section, select the SIParator type. For example:

To configure basic SIP services, follow these steps:
1. Click SIP Services on the main menu of the SIParator web interface.
The SIP Services page appears.
2. Click Basic on the SIP Services page:
The basic SIP services options appear.
3. In the SIP Module section, verify that the Enable SIP module radio button is selected.
4. In the SIP Media Port Range section, verify that the value of the Ports field is 30000-39999,
5. If you are using a DMZ of DMZ/LAN configuration for the BorderNet 500 Gateway, enter the corresponding
public IP address in the Public IP Address for NATed SIParator section.
