water as required

periodically for obstructions and for proper protrusion

ing
proper tire inflation will minimize tread wear and a id in
preventing tire failure caused from running over sharp
stones. When
inflating
tires, visually inspect them for

breaks.
NOTE
Beech Aircraft Corporation cannot recom-
mend the use of recapped tires
.
Recapped tires
have a tendency to swell as a result of the
in-
creased temperature generated during takeoff.
lncreased tire size can
jeopardize
proper func-
tion of the Ianding gear with the possibility of
damage to the Ianding
gear.
SHIMMY DAMPER
A hydraulic shimmy damper is mounted on the nose wheel
strut
yoke.
Whenever this component develops an ex-
terna! leak or a skip in the damping action, it should be
replaced.
