Systems Description
EXTERNAL POWER RECEPTACLE
The external power receptacle is optional on this airplane .
lf installed, it is located on the right s ide of t he fuselage aft
ot the wing. This airplane requires a 14V, DC, negative
ground power u nit.
CAUTION
The power pi n for external power is connected
directly to the battery and continually
energized. Battery and alternator switches and
all electrical and avionics switches must be
OFF when connecting the ground power plug.
Care should be taken to assure correct polarity
(negative ground), prior to connecting and
energizing the ground power unit. The battery
switch must be turned ON to connect the
ground power unit to the airplane bus . Alter-
nator switch must be OFF while using external
p ower.
LIGHTING SYSTEMS
INTERIOR LIGHTING
Lighting for the instrument panel is controlled by a rheo-
stat switch located on the pilot's subpanel to the right of
the eontroi column. The cabin dome light is operated by an
ON-OFF switch adjacent to the light.
