Musketeer A23-19, 19A
The BATIERY
&
ALT,
ALT,
FUEL BOOST and instrument
light switehes are grouped on the subpanel to the right of
the pilot's eontroi eolumn
.
The
magneto/
start switeh is to
the left of the pilot's eontroi
eolumn.
The Ianding light,
navigation lights, rotating beaeon and pitot heat switehes
are loeated on the right subpanel to the right of the eo-
pilot's eontroi eolumn.
CIRCUIT BREAKERS
The eireuit breakers are located on the right subpanel.
FLIGHT INSTRUMENTS
The standard flight instruments are grouped on the main
panel for the best presentation for the pilot. The magnetic
compass is located above the instrument panel.
Ram air pressure for the airspeed indieator enters through
the pitot tube under the left wing, statie air pressure for the
altimeter, vertical speed and airspeed indieator is supplied
by a statie port oneach side of the fuselage, justaft of the
eabin.
Instrument lights are turned on and dimmed by a rheostat
switch loeated on the left subpanel.
GROUNO CONTROL
Steering is aceomplished by the use of rudder pedals
through a spring-loaded linkage eonneeting the nose gear
to the rudder
pedals.
The nose gear maxi mu m travel is 40°
±
2° right or left, and a hydraulic shimmy damper on the
nose
ge·
a r yoke eompensates for any tendeney to
shimmy.
Toe brakes may be used to aid in steering the airplane on
the
ground.
