DURING FLYABLE STORAGE
In a favorable atmospheric environment the engine of an
aircraft that is flown
intermittently
can be adequately pro-
tected from corrosion by turning the engine over five
revolutions by means
ot
the propeller. This will dispel any
beads of moisture
that
may have accummulated and
spread the residual lubricating oil around the cylinder
walls.
Unless the aircraft
is
flown, repeat this procedure
every five
days.
