VACUUM SYSTEM
The foam rubber suction relief valve screen may be re -
moved for cleaning by slipping it off the bottom
ot
the
valve. The screen may be cleaned with soap and water .

In addition, the airplane is equipped with a replaceable
paper filter, mounted under the instrument panel on the
upper left side
ot
the firewall.
PROPELLER BLADES
The daily preflight inspection should include a caretui
examination of the propeller blades for nicks and
scratches .
Each blade leading edge should receive particular
attention. lt is very important that all nicks and scratches
be smoothed out and polished . The BEECHCRAFT Aero or
Aviation Center and International Distributors or Dealers
will beglad to answarany questions concerning propeller
blade repair.
WARNING
When servicing a propeller, always make
certain the ignition switch is off and that the
engine h as cooled completely . WHEN MOVING
A PROPELLER, STAND IN THE CLEAR ; there is
always some danger of a cylinder fi ring when a
propeller is moved.
