DURING TAKE-OFF GROUNO ROLL
1. Throttle - CLOSED
2. Braking - MAXIMUM
NOTE
eonduet the following proeedures imme-
diately if it appears eertain that the airplane
will run off the runway. (Otherwise eonduet
these proeedures at the pilot's diseretion.)
3. Fuel Seleetor Valve - OFF
4. BATIERY & ALT, ALT, and FUEL BOOST switehes -
OFF
5. Magneto/Start Switeh - OFF
AFTER LIFTOFF AND IN FLIGHT
Landing straight ahead is usually advisable.

fol/owing:
1. Mixture - FULL RICH, then LEAN as required
2. Fuel Boost Pump - ON
3. Fuel Selector Valve- SELECT OTHER TANK (Check to
feel detent and check visually)
4. Magnetos - CHECK LEFT and RIGHT. then BOTH

NOTE
The most probabie cause of engine failure
would be loss of fuel flow or improper
functioning of the ignition system.
