CHECK TRANSMISSION OIL LEVEL
CHECK TRANSMISSION OIL LEVEL
(1)
The oil level check must be carried out as follows;
oil level check (weekly).
(2)
At horizontally standing machine.
(3)
Transmission in neutral position.
(4)
In cold start phase, the engine must be running
about 2~3 minutes at idling speed, and the
marking on the oil level gauge must then be
lying above the cold start mark COLD.
(5)
At operating temperature of the transmission
(about 80~90˚C) and the engine idling speed.
Loosen oil level gauge by counterclockwise
rotation, remove and clean it.
Insert oil level gauge slowly into the oil level
tube until contact is obtained, and pull it out
again.
On the oil level gauge, the oil level must be
lying in the zone HOT.
Insert the oil level gauge again, and tighten it by
clockwise rotation.
When checking, press the parking brake

(1)
Operate the machine for a few minutes in order
to warm the transmission oil.
(2)
Move the machine to flat ground. Lower the
forks to the ground and slightly apply
downward force.
(3)
Press the parking brake switch and stop the
engine.
(4)
Open transmission air breather to relieve internal
air pressure.
(5)
Remove the transmission drain plug. Allow the
transmission oil to drain into a suitable container.
