5) 5) CLEAN RADIATOR AND OIL COOLER CLEAN RADIATOR AND OIL COOLER
Check, and if necessary, clean and dry outside of
radiator and oil cooler. After working in a dusty
place, clean radiator more frequently.
Visually inspect the radiator for clogged radiator

fins.
(2) Use 550 kPa (80 psi) air pressure to blow the dirt
and debris from the fins.
Blow the air in the opposite direction of the fan
air flow.
Visually inspect the radiator for bent or broken

Inspect the charge air cooler for dirt and debris
blocking the fins. Check for cracks, holes, or other
damage. If damage is found, please contact
hyundai distributor.
7) 7) FAN BELT FAN BELT
(1) An deflection method can be used to check belt
tension by applying 11.3 kgf (25 lbf) force
between the pulleys on V-belts. If the deflection
is more than one belt thickness per foot of pulley
center distance, the belt tension must be adjust-
ed.
