Cause
Technical defect.
Technical defect.
The upper alarm limit for endtidal
CO2 concentration has been
exceeded.
The lower alarm limit for endtidal
CO2 concentration has been
exceeded.
Measurement lines for flow
measurement kinked, discon-
nected or leaking.
Faulty flow sensor.
Technical defect.
Patient breathes at a high
spontaneous rate.
The internal battery is not being
charged due to a battery failure.
The internal battery is not being
charged due to a device malfunc-
tion.
Remedy
Disconnect the patient from the
device and continue ventilation
without delay using another
ventilator.
After pressing Alarm Reset the
device will directly display fur-
ther failure information in the
"Customer Service Mode"
menu. Call DrägerService.
Disconnect the patient from the
device and continue ventilation
without delay using another
ventilator. Call
DrägerService.
Check patient condition.
Check alarm limits.
Adjust the alarm limit, if
necessary.
Check patient condition.

Ensure flow measuring lines are
connected correctly.
Replace the flow sensor.
